Sundaram Mutual Fund has launched Sundaram Long-term Tax Advantage Fund – Series IV. The investment objective of the fund is to generate capital appreciation over a period of ten years by investing predominantly in equity and equity-related instruments of companies along with income tax benefit. The fund is benchmarked against the S&P BSE 500 Index. The Fund Manager is Mr. S. Krishna Kumar.

UTI Capital Protection oriented Fund – Series X-II

UTI Mutual Fund has launched UTI Capital Protection Oriented Fund – Series X–II (1134 days). The investment objective of the fund is to endeavour to protect the capital by investing in high quality fixed income securities as the primary objective and generate capital appreciation by investing in equity and equity related instruments as secondary objective. The fund is 'oriented towards protection of capital' and not 'with guaranteed returns'. Further, the orientation towards protection of the capital originates from the portfolio structure of the scheme and not from any bank guarantee, insurance cover etc. The fund is benchmarked against the CRISIL Hybrid 85+15 Conservative Index.
